Year 4 Home Learning Page
Hello and welcome to the Year 4 Home Learning page. Here, you will find all the resources and documents to enable you to continue learning whilst you are at home.
Whilst we would like you to be able to complete as much of our home learning as you can, we also understand that this may not always be possible. This may be for a number of reasons. We appreciate that every family is going through a range of different experiences and challenges at the moment and we would not want you to be hard on yourselves if you do not feel able to complete learning on a particular day in a given week. All we ask is that you and your children try to do whatever you can, with the time and resources you have available. We will always be very grateful for anything you are able to do, but will not mind if some work is left incomplete.
Below, you will see a section labelled 'Explanation Sheets'. This is currently labelled as Block 4 (Monday 1st June-Friday 5th June) as this is the fourth set of learning documents we have added for a 1 week period commencing from Monday 1st June.
Block 3 (Monday 11th May-Friday 22nd May) was the third set of learning documents added for a 2 week period starting from the W/C 11th May.
Block 2 was the second set of learning documents added for a 5 week period (allowing for a 2 week Easter Holiday) from the W/C 6th April.
Block 1 was the first set of learning documents added for a 2 week period from the W/C 23rd March.
There is a timetable which gives you a guide of which activities we would advise completing on certain days and an additional document. These two documents further explain activities mentioned on the timetable and have website links for you to use. As you know your child best, feel free to move the order of the activities around.
We would love to see what you have been learning so please use our email addresses: Andrews@kidgateprimary.co.uk and Collingwood@kidgateprimary.co.uk to share your work with us. These addresses can also be used to ask any questions about the learning tasks set. On the 'Class Pages' section of the website (located under the 'Children' heading), you can find images that have been sent to us and also on Twitter @kidgatelouth.
