As part of our formal letter writing work, the children wrote individual letters to Mrs Cook to ask for new playtime equipment.  They used a range persuasive techniques in their letters, and gave Mrs Cook some excellent reasons to create areas to do activities like book writing, a music box, items to make an obstacle course, a play kitchen and action figures.   The children were absolutely overjoyed to receive personalised replies from Mrs Cook- here they are reading their letters from her.
