Today, Year 4 took part in an exciting workshop to learn all about chalk streams. They discovered that chalk streams are rare- only being found in England and France. They are home to so many different types of wildlife, including crayfish, otters, freshwater shrimps, heron, and even American mink and crayfish! The children enjoyed using all sorts of equipment and a name trail to get hands on and investigate the types of river-life found in a local chalk stream at Welton-le-Wold. #lincolnshirechalkstreams
