To celebrate ‘British Science Week’, the Year 6 children invited their parents and carers and celebrated the theme ‘change and adapt’. They explored a range of food sources and used different utensils, acting as beaks, to collect the food. Using their findings, the children then created their own bird, carefully designing the beak. They decided on a habitat and diet to suit their bird’s characteristics.
