July 2015- What a busy July we have had! Here are a selection of photographs from our recent celebration of learning and from our Jewish visitor (Mr Griffiths).
Maths Day 24th June- The children took part in a number of different Maths activities. They enjoyed making a fruit smoothie (using their measuring skills), taking part in a Maths trail (using their problem solving skills) and playing Maths games the Y6 children created.
Monday 15th June- Trip to Far Ings Nature Reserve in Barton. We had a great time looking at plants, doing a mini beast hunt and making sculptures.
During May and June we have been busy making fruit kebabs as part of our Science work, visiting Louth Library and taking part in a treasure hunt as part of our Topic entry point.
Recent events in Year 2 - People of the Past Celebration of Learning, World Book Day, Kidgate Science Week, Red Nose Day and visit from parent and artist Mr Roberts.
