CROSS COUNTRY 4/10/18

Children from Years 3-6 had a very successful afternoon at Louth Academy on Thursday this week with over 120 children completing their respective races.  We had some very quick individual winners with Florrie Hensman (Yr4) winning her race and Eva Costa Jackson (Yr3) finishing 2nd, both children competing against older children and in a field of over 100 runners.

Ava Rhodes (Yr5) dominated the field once again finishing 1st in the Year 5 and 6 girls race.

Oliver Edwards (yr6) finished in 2nd place with Oscar Lumb very close behind him for the 3rd place spot.

Overall Kidgate also came away with two 1st team places and a 2nd team place.  It was absolutely fabulous to watch, all the children worked incredibly hard on what was a very tough cross country circuit, they showed great determination and team spirit encouraging all runners.

Our sincere thanks go to the parent helpers who assisted in escorting so many children to take part in this event.
